I don’t normally feature sessions that aren’t based in Virginia, but I just couldn’t resist this Moroccan engagement session! After all, I know Spencer, and we are featuring her Lynchburg bridal shower (oh so beautiful!) soon. But first, I wanted you to see her stunning engagement photos in Marrakesh. It was always her dream to do a session with a camel in the Moroccan desert, and she and her fiance Brennan made that dream come true. I mean really could it get any better?

Why Morocco?

Well, this couple is definitely on the move, and they are philanthropic in their efforts. Brennan and Spencer met in college (at Liberty University), and their hearts were both with missions. Spencer reflected, “Brennan and I began to spend more time together and we realized that our hearts for the Lord, our passions and dreams were distinctly similar.”

Spencer also founded her own nonprofit, Illuminate Nations. “We work in several hostile nations of the world, developing orphan homes, village outreach, schools, and we work amongst Syrian/Iraqi refugees. This is my heartbeat,” Spencer offered. She is a full-time missionary based in Lynchburg, Virginia. She also reaches out to girls in her own community.

As far as their plans for the future?

“Brennan and I plan to give our lives completely to serving the Lord and those around us even more as we unite together as one. We plan on continuing to do college ministry here in the area, while running Illuminate Nations. Moreover, we plan to live overseas serving as missionaries in the near future, where we hope to raise our family in international contexts for the sake of the gospel,” stated Spencer. How exciting!
