The Love Story

Laura and Jonathan met through eharmony. It was his first date (he had only been a member for 2 weeks!) and somewhere around Laura’s 40th date (she had been a member for roughly two years!). They live in Norfolk. Both love the mountains, so they chose to have their wedding nestled in the mountains of Central Virginia.

Their wedding day was filled with personal touches (they exchanged gifts, handwritten letters, and prayers during a no-peek “first look” before the ceremony). Their ceremony included several unique and meaningful sentiments (including a brief time of worship and washing each other’s feet as their first act of service to each other as husband and wife.)

Getting Married at Mountain Wedding Locations

Again, rural locations can really be unique wedding venues. Some even have cabin elopement packages if you choose to have a more intimate mountain wedding. Either way, the fresh air, and natural surroundings can really make for a memorable day.
