Best Aruba Honeymoon Resorts – The Aruba Marriott Resort
Of course, while you’re on your post-wedding trip, you want to stay somewhere that lets you relax and unwind. You could visit Flamingo Beach, but The Aruba Marriott on Palm Beach is perfect! From cozy rooms to on-site activities (hint: there’s a Starbucks in the lobby!), here is what’s in store on the property. Oh, and don’t forget to put the essentials on your Aruba packing list!
Stay in a spacious room with a view.
The rooms at the Aruba Marriott are incredibly roomy, and the view is lovely. You can see both the pool and the ocean, which is perfect for honeymooners.
Stay on your balcony, and venture out to other parts of the resort when you’re ready. It’s easy to tell why this resort is one of the best Aruba honeymoon hotels for a romantic trip.
Explore other areas of the Aruba Marriott.
Of course, other areas of the resort are stunning to explore. Swim in or lounge by the pools, roam the property, or people-watch in the lobby.
Lounge on the beach and eat at Waves Bar & Grill.
Of course, what makes the Aruba Marriott one of the best Aruba honeymoon destinations is the fact that it’s beachfront. It’s easy to spend hours lounging by the ocean.
Not only is the view lovely but there is a fabulous food and drink menu. It’s the perfect excuse to hang out in your lounge chairs all day long.
Walk on the beach surrounding Aruba Marriott Resort.
A hand-in-hand walk on the beach exudes romance, especially on an Aruban honeymoon. Splash in the water, see the boats, and gawk at the clear water.
You can walk both left and right down the coastline and soak in the sun as you explore.
Grab a buffet breakfast at La Vista.
Starting your day with a healthy breakfast is important, and there are many options at La Vista. Of course, you can also order off of the menu if you’d like.
One of the best parts about La Vista is that it’s open for meals all day long. Plus, you can either eat indoors or outside, depending on your mood.
Test other food and drink options at The Lobby bar.
It’s hard to miss The Lobby bar when you walk through the hotel. The bright, airy space is inviting and centers around a posh bar.
Of course, you can order delicious drinks, but the bar also offers Asian-influenced food options. Be sure to check it out for a casual bite while you’re in Aruba.
Schedule a sunset meal on the Aruba Marriott beach at Atardi.
Sunsets are so romantic, especially when you have an ocean view. The beachfront is transformed into a temporary restaurant with amazing cuisine on select nights.
It’s a perfectly romantic way to dine with a view while you’re on your honeymoon. Take the time to eat leisurely and converse with your partner over a delicious meal.
Splurge on a treat at Gelato & Co.
Not only is there a Starbucks in the lobby but there is also a gelato shop. It’s the perfect way to treat yourself while you’re in Aruba for your honeymoon.
There are many traditional flavors, and you can add sprinkles and other toppings. Delicious!
Aruba Honeymoon Activities Off-Site
Of course, you can spend all of your time at the Aruba Marriott, as the property is perfect for relaxing, eating, and enjoying the beach.
However, there are so many things to do in Aruba off-property. Whether you crave culture, food, or adventure, there are Aruba honeymoon excursions to fit the bill.
Go on a UTV ride through the Aruban countryside.
Of course, Aruba is all about the beach, but there is an adventure in store if you crave exploring the outdoors.
Going for an ATV or UTV ride is a fabulous way to see more of Aruba and get a feel for more of the country.
Eat breakfast at Linda’s Dutch Pancakes.
Aruba has an extensive Dutch history, which comes through in some of the food offerings. Going to Linda’s Dutch Pancakes is a fun way to immerse your tastebuds into the culture.
The pancakes are thin and crepe-like, and there are various toppings to choose from. Be sure to get a Dutch coffee while you’re there, too. It’s a must-see stop!
Visit an aloe farm.
Amazingly, Aruba Aloe has been around since 1890, and its history is integral to the island. They offer free tours of the factory, and if you have questions, they’ll answer them.
There is also a shop on site where you can purchase items to take home. However, the best part is that you can participate in a workshop and make your own body care items. Be sure to visit while you’re in Aruba!
Plan dinner at Lima Bistro.
For a different take on dinner, head to Lima Bistro for a Peruvian-inspired meal in Oranjestad. The design of the restaurant is chic and open, and the menu is well-curated.
The cocktails and meal offerings are so creative. But one of my favorite parts was the bread. It’s freshly baked and comes with small salted butter stars. Delish!
Go on a romantic sunset catamaran cruise.
Whether you go before dinner or after, setting sail on a catamaran to enjoy the sunset is a spectacular activity to end your time on your honeymoon in Aruba.
Relax as you sail on the ocean with a drink in hand and anticipate the sunset. Once it starts to set, the colors are lovely, and being on the water is the ideal way to experience Aruba.
