The Story Behind This Gorgeous Wedding
Josie and Lee’s story is pretty wretched, Wretched Radio actually. Josie is from Maryland and Lee is from North Carolina. However, they both met in Atlanta, Georgia through the “G3 Conference” in January 2020.
While at the conference, Josie took a photo with a host from Wretched Radio, and they shared it on their social media. Lee is also a fan of the show and decided to message her on Instagram to get to know her.
As they continued talking, their quick friendship turned into more. They had their first in-person meet-up in Richmond, Virginia—a favorite place of theirs that happened to be at the perfect halfway point.
Though they were long-distance, love blossomed and Lee proposed only 8 months later at Maymont Gardens in Richmond. When it came to planning their wedding, they knew that they had to hold it at the special place in their relationship—Richmond, Virginia.
The first kiss was a particular highlight of the wedding day. Notably, the pair saved their first kiss for once they were announced as husband and wife.
