Want a perfect engagement session combination? How about an adorable couple, their fun pup, and a gorgeous view off of Skyline Drive? After seeing this session today, I think you will agree that those combine in a trifecta of loveliness – despite a few raindrops along the way.
I love it when submissions come with a backstory like this one did, so I am going to share a bit with you about Ryan and Megan. They met in a modern way – on a dating app – but when they started talking, they realized they had a lot in common. Only 10 minutes separated their hometowns, and they had attended rival high schools. It’s a wonder they didn’t meet sooner! Their first date included a game of pool, so on each dating anniversary, they celebrate and continue the tradition of playing a friendly game of pool. So fun!
Their pup is very present in their Skyline Drive engagement photos.
Her name is Mina, and she is a rescue from K-9 Lifesavers. Both Ryan and Megan love the outdoors and staying fit, so Mina is a perfect addition to their little family. Being conscious of the environment, they also chose a diamond that fit in with the scope of sustainability and being conflict-free. Although they had a bit of rain during their engagement photos, they made the best of it – just wait until you see their cute umbrella shots by Megan Rei Photography. Enjoy!

Elizabeth OWhat a really beautiful session this is. Even with the rain it made for some great shots!
WendyThis is refreshing to the eyes. Most engagement shoots involve dressing up and being all dramatic lol but I like this one. So simple, and the best part – the pup is present! 😀 Great shots!
Gill TrotmanWow, absolutely beautiful photos! I love how the photographer integrated the couple’s dog in the first set of photos. You do amazing work. I look forward to seeing more in the future!
Fashion and Style PoliceLoving the beautiful pictures here. Cute the dog got involved in the photo shoot. That is a great idea.
John SallieI think the light whitish grey sky made for a wonderful effect. My favorite pic is that of the three staring off into the distance ie the future. May they play pool for many years to come.
Clarice Lao / Camping for WomenThis is really cute. I love that they included their pup in the shoot. Actually, we also included our three dogs too and it’s one of my favorite photos.
lisaI love these photos, the background is lovely and I love that they have included their pup in them as well.
Mommy SigridWhat a nice and casual prenup! No fancy outfits. Just two people in love. And I love how their emotions were captured in pictures. 😀 Congratulations to them!
