Navy blue is so lovely as a neutral and it pairs well with just about any color. A navy blue and gold wedding or a navy blue and pink wedding can be beautiful, and this wedding incorporates all three of those hues.

As far as a navy blue wedding party, the guys and groom wore suits in the hue, and the girls wore floral gowns. So beautiful! The tones of hot pink, fuschia, coral, and light pink mixed with a mustardy yellow all come together perfectly for the most complimentary scheme.

A Bit About This Couple’s Wedding Story

Andrew and Alissa met at a hookah bar, dated for a year, and then broke up. Once they parted ways, they reconnected and built a friendship that eventually blossomed into being best friends. “Although that breakup was painful, we both agree that the choice we made then is how we came together now, even better than before, having forged a very strong friendship after the breakup,” Alissa said.

Andrew was faced with the decision to stay in the states or move to Guam. He chose Guam, which devastated Alissa. “That moment, I realized I didn’t know what I would do without my best friend and I didn’t want to be ‘just friends’ anymore,” she reminisced. A month later they officially got together, and they were married in the courthouse right before Andrew moved to Guam. A formal proposal came later in front of The Globe Theatre in London, and their big wedding took place in 2019.

Planning from a distance was difficult – 9000 miles and 14 hours time difference type of difficult. They decided to get married on May 4 (Star Wars Day – May the 4th be with you). They were wondering how to incorporate Star Wars into a wedding, so Alissa surprised Andrew with the cutest groom’s Star Wars wedding cake ever.
